Visit of the High Sheriff of Shropshire

On Monday 13th of June, Selina Graham, the High Sheriff of Shropshire paid a visit to the Haycop to find out more about the reserve and to thank all of the volunteers for their conservation work on the site.

March Working Party – the first of 2022

On Saturday 12th March we had our first working party of the year. The focus of the day was clearing brambles from the top of the Meadow and from the South Bank. We also carried out drainage work on the Bridle Way. We were joined by Andrew Miles, Adrian’s younger son. Andrew lives in Australia and was on a short visit to the UK. Andrew helped with the work on the South Bank which was one of Adrian’s favourite spots on the Haycop for watching butterflies.
